10 Miles and it Was Tough!

The weather was suffocating this morning. At least the sky was overcast, but the 98% humidity offset it. I was hoping for rain, but it didn't come until after my run. I took Lexington into the Park to the 2 mile marker and back. After a 5 minute warm-up, I did 75/65 intervals for 6 miles, then a walked more than I ran. I was out for a total of around 2.5 hours, so I averaged a 15 minute mile. I ran into a bunch of FBFers coming from all directions, doing anywhere from 3 to 15 miles.
It seemed like the longest 10 miles I had ever done, so I look forward to my rest day tomorrow.

Hopefully the weather will be better for Tuesday's race.
