Last Official FBF Training for the Season
This morning was our last official Saturday run for the season. It's hard to believe that this is Marathon Week! We were down to the end of the taper - 6 miles. Bob, Jacque, Peggy and I started out together, walking for the first 3/4 mile until we got into the park. Then we did 1:00/1:00 intervals for about 2 miles, reverting back to walking for the balance. I connected with Vicki just as Bob took off talking to someone he knew while Jacque and Peggy started walking together. Vicki and I talked about our trip to Austin for the Marathon and planned some of our race strategy for the coming months.
I figured out what was causing my knee pain. I had my shoes switched and was wearing my "new" (50 miles) wide shoe on my right foot and my older one (with 250+ miles) on my left. I got it straight this morning.
